WOOD FINISHES

All David Edward designs, manufactured in either Black Cherry and/ or Northern Hard Maple, are available in 18 catalized standard wood finishes.
These catalized finishes are resistant to scratches, cigarette burns and most chemicals.
Open grain finishes are standard on Maple Wood. Filled finishes are standard on Cherry wood.
 

 All finishes shown on Cherry wood begin with 2 and are crossmatched with Maple wood. All maple wood finishes begin with 4. Check the wood specie of the design specified and select the finish accordingly.

Finish samples shown are on veneer. Since no two trees are exactly alike and different pieces of wood take stain differently, some variation between samples and finished goods should be anticipated. Moreover, as color chart samples are necessarily inexact, larger solid wood samples of specific standard finishes are available on request at no charge. If the finish on an order is to match a previous order, please indicate on your order.
